True Crime Radio

Tired of pointing and clicking? Sit and listen to a little crime radio, instead. Two of our TCB members are running their own Internet radio shows.

Author Denny Griffin hosts two shows. The first, aptly titled after his blog, is Las Vegas & the Mob. The second is called Ask the Author. This week Denny's guest was M. William Phelps. They discussed Matthew's newest book, If Looks Could Kill, which will be released March 4th. Phelps blogs at Crime Rant with fellow author Gregg Olsen.

Shannon Dingee-Kramer, web mistress of the Sarcastic Crime blog has her own show entitled, of course, Sarcastic Crime. Shannon's recent guess was Charlie Hess and they discussed his recent book, Hello Charlie, Letter's from a Serial Killer.

Blogger Wanted for TCB Carnival Posts

Remember those blog carnivals we used to have? Yeah, we do too. We want to bring them back, and we want YOU to write them for us. Well, at least one of you - maybe two.

If you’re creative, think you’re witty, love rejection, salivate at the thought of hate mail, want people across the globe to revel in your every written word and have a rudimentary knowledge of keyword inclusion, then you are exactly who we’re looking for!

We want a talented, or semi-talented, or at least someone who can fake being talented, individual to do one post a week for publication on our homepage and MySpace. The post needs to promote stories from the various crime blogs within the TCB group of bloggers and should consist of at least one creative blurb about each story you use for the post with its corresponding link. Beyond that, the only requirement is to delight us with your brilliance.

If you’d like to go down in Internet infamy, or perhaps just go down in flames, send us two writing samples that depict an example of the type of post you would do for us, along with an email address of an account you actually check more than once a month, to truecrimeblogroll AT yahoo DOT com. Please write BLOG CARNIVAL in the subject line.

Read Any Good Books Lately? We Want Your Reviews!!

Like to read; like to write; are you able to string a coherent sentence together so it doesn’t read like you’re on crack?

We are looking for true crime readers who also enjoy writing to put together short reviews of the books that they read and then send those reviews in to us.

Reviewers from all countries are welcome, but the review should be in English and typed up in an MS Word document that is attached to an email with REVIEW in the subject line along with the name of the book you are reviewing. Send your email to truecrimeblogroll@yahoo.com.

If we decide to use your material it will be published with your name (or pseudonym if you prefer) here on our TCB homepage and also our MySpace . There is no limit to the number of reviews that can be submitted per person, so read and write to your hearts desire.
